Whoo-hoo :w00t!: finally something I like! I was oddly inspired to make this piece when I caught a split second of the movie In The Cut that my dad was watching. I think Meg Ryan's character was looking at a piece of greenish parchment with a poem on it or something. Some how this morphed into something that doesn't look anything like what I saw in the movie-and changed the subject to be about love.

I was trying to be artsy, so if you read the text you'll see that it's two different views on love. Thought it might be interesting ;)

 Wow K-dawg! :worship:
I actually really love this piece. The green parchment background goes really well with the black, kind of grungy style. And I kind of like the random tacky hearts popping out of her butt. However, you should have used one of my superior poems (even though none of them have to do with love) Anyway, I REALLY like this piece that you did! It is definitely my new favorite! :blowkiss:

Awww! Thanks T!! I love your use of emoticons there :) And I know I should have used one of your truely superior poems, but the last time I did that you got mad at me :( Oh, and those balloons are not popping out of her butt-she's holding them. But thanks for all the appreciation  , I'll use one of your poems in the next piece :D

I love it! :w00t: Definitely not what most people picture when they think of the word "love", but that's what makes it cool. New favorite! :D

lol this is brilliant
oh wow, the typography is simply beautiful
i love the simplicity of the sans serif fonts, but the layout and the way youve used them, give off a slightly stalkerish, desperate feeling if ya get me?
i just adore this the use of a faceles persson means it could be anyone.
whats the texture in the background??

Wow, thanks  -your comment is awesome-I'm glad you took the time to really analyze it. No one else really got the meaning of the faceless person except you-so kudos :D And the texture in the background is actually a photo of an aged piece of paper from [link] Thanks again for the comment!

ahh! i'm so upset. i can only see the small view of your picture; every time i try and load full view my computer decides it hates me. it's driving me insane, çuz it looks so cool, but i know i'm missing all the pretty little intricate things. one day, one day when my computer doesn't hate me, i'll give you a real comment :) i still think it's beautiful though.

oh, ok, so the second i post that, the damn computer decides it feels like loading the picture. damn you, evil monster computer!

anyways. i still like it. but the way her hand is, it doesn't look like she's holding those ballons at all. they look pretty random. i like them there, but the strings make them odd. just my perspective.

i love how disjointed it all is. i love how the thoughts all float around, and there's so much insecurity and defensiveness, but it's still love - it's perfect.

the colors are beautiful, but on the left side, instead of it being black it's like a rusty, dark color, and it looks a little misplaced, because the rest is so stark and so contrasting.

lovely. lovely, lovely, lovely. -happy dance-
